Since fitting a roll cage and snorkel my Defender doesn't fit in the garage. Im weighing up cost of new garage doors and air suspension. My defender is plus 2" WITH 255 85R16 would air suspension go down 4-5 inches from +2 "?

Looks great, starting on looking into getting a defender. I just mist a great deal... Anyway, looks awesome and else the benefits for visibility it does pimp up big time the look of it. One thing, and that might be your way of doing your video, but was hoping for some details on what to look for while installing it. Any oupsy or thing you would warn us of if trying to install this kit. Not a how to but hints you encounter.

Good job. It's always amazed me why no one modifies these ugly and old-school steering controls at all, even including the steering wheel replacement?

Great work from obviously experienced LR techs... however, you reinstalled a completely flthy transmission covered in dirt and oil, even inside the bell housing, after fitting all those new clutch parts... and you had clear access to all the rusty stuff underneath, but chose just to reinstall new parts next to/on top of it. That lack of attention to detail would concern me when choosing where to have my work done. It's not like this is a customer's car, and they chose not to pay for the extra work... I would get that. Even if this was the case, I would at least jet wash that transmission ffs.

Sounds like a gasoline engine but i think your final drive is too short, engine peaks too early, you need a taller final drive for better overall top speed.

piece of advice when working with carbon: where you cut or drilled the carbon, put some superglue on that surface edge to extend and prevent the carbon sheets from splitting, opening or simply swelling...and if you take the screws off often, a washer between the bonnet wholes and screws help prevent further damage

Looks mint bud you guys did a great job, only thing I would change is the brown seats but that is just personal preference. Surprised at how much I liked the rear glass. I would love to take on a resto-mod project but I don't have the skill or the space to do it really. If I were to take one on it would either be a classic mini or a defender.

However, I'm curious why you didn't go with Gwyn Lewis's 4X4 products as he, in my opinion, wrote the book on lifting and articulating Defenders. Not trying to be a hater, just wondering what your decision process was. Looking back, would you change anything?

Looks great! The only thing I would add is a NAS rear step bumper.

Try one of the galvanised bulkheads. They are a great fit and come with vent mesh installed too.

With respect to your Coca Cola comment: yes => Coca Cola is one of the best "anti seize" and "de-ruster" you can get so I am pretty sure that works very well. 🤗- untouched this would live to know what size and type of nut you use to remove the caliper holder, so you can remove the discs. First and foremost - at least you have got rid of the plastic chequer plate pieces either side of the bonnet. Right from the beginning a no no for me…

i know this video is old but i just wanted to say this gave me so much joy as my dad used to have a very similar blacked out defender looked and sounded amazing it had a wonderful v8 in it incredible car and he sold it so my mum could keep her car and i am still sad now and it was many years ago. keep up the good work love your videos and have a good day / night. :)
